初地震。

I was washing my hands in the McDonald’s near my home station when the building began to shake enough that I could see the motion in the room. It’s the first earthquake I’ve ever actually felt, and it was just as much of a surprise to the patrons and staff, who usually know via an early warning system on their phones. I wasn’t afraid, and it only lasted long enough for me to notice it. I can, however, see just how frightening a longer and more powerful quake would be. If nothing else, it makes a good conversation starter.
