Late Shift.

A moment of respect for the guy who works the last shift at Chikara Meshi near my home station. Not only does he have to listen to not-quiet J-pop (which he may or may not like) and the loud ticket machine (店内で召し上がりますか?!), but he has to make all the eat-in and take-out orders, and even come out from behind the counter and open the door when people leave (at least the takeouts). I imagine the guy has to clean up the place after close, too. I certainly wouldn’t want his shift.
